About The Position

Capital Group’s Global Digital Products & Capabilities team creates digital experiences that help clients learn about our offerings, stay informed, and choose investment solutions that fit their needs. As we continue to invest in our digital products and design systems, we are expanding the team that builds and improves these experiences. The Digital Product Associate is a hands-on role that blends business acumen and technology with creativity. You will be joining a team that highly values curiosity, experimentation, and iteration. You’ll collaborate with product managers, content authors, engineers, designers, and researchers in shaping our visual and interaction patterns, while providing support for the tools and components that our team manages. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their product management career.

Requirements

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related technical field
  • You have a good understanding of component-based design principles and systems thinking, and have digital acumen
  • You have strong Figma UI skills, with a solid understanding of how components, variables, layer modes and auto-layout work
  • You possess sharp attention to detail with an eye for consistency
  • You understand accessibility guidelines (WCAG) and the importance of inclusive product design
  • You have visual and interaction design skills, alongside prototyping experience
  • You have a strong curiosity for product management and a willingness to grow in both design and product practices

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Managers in translating user feedback to create polished, high-impact components that balance business priorities, technical feasibility, and brand expression
  • Actively participate in agile product development (grooming, standups, sprint planning)
  • Deliver production-ready UI assets or specs while collaborating with our developers and QA team to ensure consistency and excellence across desktop and mobile screens
  • Contribute production-ready UI components for our shared Figma libraries
  • Maintain existing library components while continually auditing the work to find improvement opportunities
  • Advocate inclusive design principles by understanding user needs and mitigating biases
  • Contribute to product requirements with documentation or prototypes
