Digital Print Production Operator

AlphaGraphics - US813Bloomington, MN
$19 - $23Onsite

About The Position

Love the idea of making real, physical things — pieces people can hold, hang, and drive around town? At AlphaGraphics Bloomington, we turn files into finished print every day, and we're looking for a Digital Print Production Operator to help us do it well. We're hiring part-time to start, with a real opportunity to move into a full-time role as you grow with us. This is a hands-on role for someone who's detail-oriented, curious, and ready to build a lasting career in print. A background in print or production is a real plus, and we'll help you grow from there. Alongside our digital printers, you'll also produce large-format work like banners, signs, and vehicle graphics — with the chance to learn installation down the road, so there's room to keep growing. You'll be based at our Bloomington office, with a real possibility of picking up hours at our Apple Valley location as well — so we're looking for someone open to working at both. You'll join a tight-knit crew that takes real pride in quality work and genuinely enjoys the day-to-day. We work hard, back each other up, and leave plenty of room for humanity, fun, and a fair bit of laughter.

Requirements

  • Experience or a background in print or a production environment — it's a real benefit in this role and will help you get up to speed quickly.
  • A sharp eye for detail and color, and pride in getting things right the first time.
  • Comfort juggling several jobs at once and keeping them organized under deadline.
  • A reliable, team-first attitude — you show up, follow through, and help out.
  • Willing to work at both our Bloomington and Apple Valley locations, with reliable transportation to each.
  • Basic computer comfort; you'll learn our specific print software (Fiery Command Workstation) on the job.
  • Able to stand, lift, and move materials throughout the shift.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Fiery / Command Workstation, file imposition, or bindery.
  • Graphic design skills.
  • Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and run our cut-sheet digital printers to produce color and black-and-white jobs — accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard.
  • Proof every job against the work order before it runs, and quality-check as you go to keep waste and redos low.
  • Calibrate the printers and match colors precisely to client Pantone specs and previous jobs, watching consistency across the entire run.
  • Help produce our large-format work too — banners, signs, decals, vehicle graphics, and wall murals. This is a core part of the role, with the opportunity to learn installation down the road.
  • Keep our equipment healthy — routine maintenance, cleaning, logs, and coordinating with service techs when a machine needs more.
  • Track job status, materials, and inventory in our production system so the whole team knows where things stand.
  • Keep your workspace clean, organized, and safe.
