About The Position

This internship focuses on contributing to physical design activities within the semiconductor industry. Interns will gain hands-on experience in layout implementation, checks, and design data preparation, working under the guidance of senior engineers. The role involves assisting with timing, power, quality, and rule-check tasks using standard engineering tools. Collaboration with design, verification, and methodology teams is expected to resolve issues and enhance design quality. Interns will also contribute to documenting design processes and outcomes, supporting structured execution and project milestones.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related discipline.
  • Familiar with role-related engineering, design, verification, programming, or lab tools; willingness to learn quickly is important.
  • Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals, problem solving, testing, and technical documentation.
  • Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical ideas clearly.
  • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
  • Must be returning to school or graduating at the conclusion of the internship term (Spring 2027).

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience from lab work, design projects, internships, coursework, or student competitions is a plus.

Responsibilities
