We're hiring a Digital Operations Utility Specialist to join our Team.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED with 3-5 years of experience in a financial institution
  • Knowledge of Bank operating policies and procedures and State and Federal banking regulations with special emphasis on those impacting wire processing compliance
  • Excellent customer service, written / verbal communication, and telephone skills
  • Must be well organized, detail oriented
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities independently, operate well under pressure and evaluate data to solve problems
  • Sufficient computer skills overall, must include Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to function as an integral member of a Team
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm to work in many capacities within the Digital Operations department
  • Act as a change agent, demonstrating a willingness to learn new systems, procedures, and business areas
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn (systems, procedures etc.)
  • Working knowledge of rules and regulations pertaining to wire transfer and electronic banking (Reg J, UCC4A, Reg E, Reg CC)

Responsibilities

  • Initiates domestic and international wire transactions through an automated funds transfer delivery system
  • Processes all received wires in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy
  • Ensures that customers pass all risk management assessments, to include risk monitoring & OFAC security validation on all wire transfers
  • Reviews wire requests validating wire instructions and authorizations
  • Validates authenticity of caller requesting an outgoing wire transfer via the telephone
  • Acts as secondary review of wire transfers for dual control purposes
  • Ensure timely processing of wire requests, customer inquiries and set-ups
  • Assist and/or complete daily settlements related to the wire transfer department and the electronic banking department
  • Cross-train with the electronic banking department
  • Comprehension of basic operations related to the following: Retail and Commercial online banking applications, Mobile banking applications, ACH Originations/Receipt, Regulation E requests and ACH disputes, Positive Pay
  • Reply to consumer and commercial client inquiries regarding the Bank’s electronic products
  • General knowledge of digital banking products
  • Work parallel with sales team for implementation, training, and ongoing assistance for treasury clients
  • Keep current with all policies and procedures for electronic banking and wire transfer processing
  • Partner with team and other lines of business to ensure success
  • Assists with archiving of daily work
  • Assist with department projects as delegated by supervisor
  • Accountable for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including the Univest Code of Conduct.
