Digital Media Specialist
About The Position
Effectively communicate the mission, message, and purpose of Africa's Hope through donor-based communications and digital media. This individual will serve as the producer for Africa's Hope print, digital, photography and video projects and will work collaboratively with ministry leadership and team members to create compelling content that advances the ministry's goals. Design and produce marketing materials for development events and ministry initiatives. Assist with website updates related to appeals, project listings, videos, ministry updates, event promotions, and project donation pages. Create and manage social media content that informs, inspires and engages Africa's Hope digital audiences. Gather information and produce promotional print materials and videos for Africa's Hope. Maintain a catalog of promotional photos, capture photography and video footage and edit video updates and ministry stories.
Requirements
- Degree in Digital Design, Film, Communications or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum three years video production experience.
- Familiarity with maintaining common social media platforms.
- Extensive experience in Adobe photo/video software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in event presentation and photography.
- Customer Service.
- General Office Skills.
