The Digital Media Buyer is responsible for the day-to-day management of paid media campaigns across Meta, Google, and programmatic digital channels (Taboola, Outbrain, Revcontent). This is a hands-on, execution-focused role requiring a candidate who is both analytically driven and creatively aware. The ideal candidate can interpret performance data and translate it into decisive action, while also evaluating creative assets to understand what is and is not driving results.

Requirements

  • 1+ years buying paid media at scale, ideally for direct-response, subscription, or lead-gen businesses
  • Experience accounts spending at least $10-20k consistently per month
  • Deep hands-on experience in Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads (Search, Performance Max, YouTube)
  • Awareness of at least one native platform (Taboola, Outbrain, Revcontent, MGID)
  • Strong analytical foundation: you can pivot a dataset in Sheets, read a cohort report, and explain what changed without hand-waving
  • Design literacy: you can tell good creative from bad, write a clear creative brief, and give specific feedback to designers and copywriters
  • Working knowledge of pixel implementation, UTM hygiene, conversion APIs, and attribution gotchas
  • Self-directed work style. You do not need a Slack ping to know that CPA spiked at 2pm
  • Must be able to pass a background check

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in financial publishing, trading education, newsletters, info products, or other regulated direct-response categories
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, Klaviyo, or comparable marketing automation
  • Exposure to landing page testing (Unbounce, Instapage) and basic CRO instincts
  • Comfort with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) for creative ideation and rapid iteration
  • Prior experience with compliance-sensitive copy in finance, supplements, or similar verticals

Responsibilities

  • Launch new campaigns, ad sets, and ad variants across our brands on a daily cadence
  • Run structured creative tests (hook, angle, format, audience) and document what wins
  • Monitor pacing, CPA, ROAS, frequency, and funnel-stage performance throughout the day and reallocate budget without waiting to be asked
  • Partner with the Marketing Director and creative team to brief new ads, flag creative fatigue, and request iterations before performance slips
  • Maintain naming conventions, tracking parameters, and account hygiene so reporting stays trustworthy
  • Maintain dashboards (Looker Studio, Sheets, internal reporting tools) that show what is working and why
  • Surface insights weekly: what scaled, what got cut, what we are testing next, and what the numbers are telling us about audience and messaging
