About The Position

This position involves operating video, audio, and other multimedia equipment, including livestream capabilities. The role includes reviewing, editing, and publishing digital content related to UNM's outreach efforts, events, and student and scholar populations. Responsibilities also include planning, filming, and editing digital content for upload to platforms such as department social media and websites. The assistant will attend activities and events to interview, record testimonials, and capture primary and b-roll footage. Additionally, the role requires storing and organizing photos and videos, assisting with processing inter-office marketing requests, and performing other assigned duties.

Nice To Haves

• Film or journalism major or minor
• Previous experience operating semi-professional equipment
• Previous experience editing multimedia utilizing Adobe Creative Suite and distribution through social media platforms
• Foundational knowledge of graphic design principles
• Interest in working in a diverse environment in support of our outreach community.
• Bilingual English/Spanish

Responsibilities
