About The Position

Creek Technologies is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to support AFWERX strategic communication and digital marketing efforts. The Digital Marketing Specialist will develop and execute digital strategies that effectively promote AFWERX initiatives, programs, mission priorities, and Director priorities. The ideal candidate will have experience across social media, content marketing, email marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), digital analytics, and campaign development. This position will collaborate with AFWERX personnel and the Strategic Communication team to ensure digital communications are consistent, audience-focused, and aligned with organizational goals and messaging.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional digital marketing experience, preferably within a military, federal government, or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including social media, content marketing, email marketing, and SEO.
• Experience developing, executing, and analyzing digital and social media campaigns across multiple platforms.
• Proficiency with digital marketing, analytics, and creative tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Adobe Creative Suite, and Google Workspace.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop clear, audience-focused content.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies supporting the AFWERX mission, initiatives, programs, and leadership priorities.
• Create, manage, and distribute engaging digital content across social media platforms, websites, email campaigns, and other digital communication channels.
• Develop and execute social media and email marketing campaigns tailored to specific audiences and communication objectives.
• Monitor and analyze digital marketing performance, including website traffic, social media engagement, campaign performance, and conversion metrics.
• Use analytics and performance data to evaluate campaign effectiveness and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Apply SEO principles and best practices to improve online visibility, audience reach, and engagement.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Strategic Communication and Public Affairs personnel, to ensure consistent messaging across digital channels.
• Maintain consistency of the AFWERX brand, messaging, and communication standards across digital products and platforms.
• Identify target audiences and tailor digital content to effectively communicate the value and impact of AFWERX programs and initiatives.
• Stay current on emerging digital marketing trends, platforms, technologies, and best practices and recommend innovative approaches to reaching target audiences.
• Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations detailing digital marketing performance, campaign results, and key performance indicators.
• Participate in meetings and discussions to gather information necessary for the development of communication products and campaigns.
• Provide tactical and strategic digital marketing expertise in support of AFWERX goals and priorities.
• Collaborate with web development teams to support effective website content and user experience.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced and highly dispersed organization.
