About The Position

Better Living Health and Community Services has an opening for a Digital Marketing Coordinator. The Brand Implementation and Marketing Assistant plays a key role in supporting the organization as we transition and adapt our newly launched brand. This role assists with updating, organizing, and coordinating branded materials to ensure that Staff, Volunteers, and community members have access to accurate and consistent resources. The Assistant will help prepare print and digital materials, gather vendor quotes, track project timelines, and assist with updating content for the new website as needed with support from our Graphic and Website Designer. This position supports a smooth brand rollout across all Better Living locations and platforms and contributes to maintaining quality and consistency in brand assets across the organization. This position reports to Manager, Communications To be eligible to participate in Canada Summer Jobs, Candidates Must: Be between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment; Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigrant and Refugee Protection Act and; Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary studies in marketing, communications, business, digital media, or a related field of study.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Experience in branding, marketing operations, and project coordination.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in brand application.
  • Time management and prioritization skills.
  • Digital literacy and willingness to learn new digital tools and processes.
  • Collaborative communication and effective teamwork.
  • Be between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment
  • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigrant and Refugee Protection Act
  • Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
  • Successful completion of Vulnerable Sector Screening within one month of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud is an asset.
  • Experience in a related field of work is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with updating and organizing brand materials to reflect the new brand guidelines.
  • Support the preparation, production, and gathering quotes for print and digital materials used across all organizational locations.
  • Support the review, preparation, and uploading of updated content for the new organizational website with assistance and review from our Graphic and Website Designer and Communications Manager.
  • Maintain organized digital files, templates, and branded asset libraries for staff reference and use.
  • Provide services in keeping with the organization’s Mission, Vision and Beliefs and Resident Declaration of Values.
  • Adhere to the principles and expectations outlined in the Code of Conduct.
  • Adhere to the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA 2010) as outlined in the organization privacy policies and procedures.
  • Perform the functions of job description in compliance with the Health and Safety practices of the organization and in accordance with the provincial Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Participate in the continuous quality improvement activities of the organization in order to advance a culture of quality and support ongoing compliance with CARF Accreditation standards.
