Medavie Blue Cross is seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our marketing team for a 1 2-month contract role . This position provides an opportunity to gain valuable experience with a leading Canadian health benefits provider. The successful candidate will have 2-3 years of digital marketing experience with demonstrated expertise in content development, marketing automation platforms, and campaign execution. This role offers exposure to diverse marketing initiatives across business lines.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of hands-on digital marketing experience with demonstrated results
  • Proven experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred)
  • Strong writing and content development skills
  • Proficiency in digital analytics tools such as GA4, Excel, and data visualization platforms
  • Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Craft, or similar)
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and email marketing best practices
  • Project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree or Certificate in Digital Marketing, Marketing Communications, Business, or related field

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of multi-channel digital marketing campaigns including email, social media, and web-based initiatives.
  • Perform content updates and basic optimization on marketing websites using CMS platforms including Craft and WordPress.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the management and optimization of marketing automation workflows using HubSpot and/or Salesforce platforms.
  • Monitor campaign performance using tools such as GA4, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Assist in preparing reports on key marketing metrics and provide insights to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Provide general support to the marketing team on cross-functional projects, including SharePoint site management, campaign launches, and collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Assist specialists in digital marketing, email marketing, and marketing automation activities as needed.
