About The Position

David Zwirner seeks a highly motivated Digital Marketing & Client Development Intern to support its New York gallery locations. Qualified candidates should be highly personable, organized, motivated, and responsible, with an interest in gaining experience in the daily operations of a contemporary art gallery.

Requirements

  • A genuine interest in contemporary art and David Zwirner’s program
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time management, diligence, and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Must be a resident of NY, NJ, or CT.

Nice To Haves

  • One previous art industry internship preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Client Development team in entering information in the database, updating existing records, creating new records, and supporting the Sales team with research projects.
  • Work alongside the Digital Marketing and Client Development teams to collaborate on data and reporting, and present findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Utilize various technological platforms to help process inbound messages to the gallery.
  • Help liaise with the global team of gallery assistants to ensure continuous inbox coverage and best practices.
  • Join weekly meetings and engage with a broad range of Marketing, Client Development, Digital, and Sales team members.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and department needs as assigned.
  • Ad hoc projects as assigned.

Benefits

  • All interns are paid NYC minimum wage of $17/hour.
