About The Position

Beloit Auction & Realty is seeking an experienced Digital Marketing & AI Content Manager to lead their marketing efforts and help expand their bidder base while attracting new consignors nationwide. The company is one of the Midwest’s leading auction companies specializing in personal property, real estate, industrial equipment, firearms, vehicles, and estate liquidation, with over 55 years of service. They are currently constructing a new 55,000-square-foot auction and logistics facility to expand operations and marketing reach. This role will be responsible for planning and executing marketing campaigns to promote auctions, increase bidder participation, and generate new consignment opportunities. The position combines digital marketing strategy, content creation, analytics, and AI-assisted marketing tools to drive measurable results. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, data-driven, and comfortable using modern marketing tools to produce high-quality content efficiently. Due to the nature of auction marketing being tied to inventory and preparation, regular on-site involvement is required to collaborate with staff, identify standout items, and capture real-time marketing content. The position is primarily on-site at the Beloit facility, with occasional travel to off-site auction locations. Remote-only applicants will not be considered.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in digital marketing, social media marketing, or content creation is required.
  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, content marketing, or social media management
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills
  • Experience managing social media accounts for a business or organization
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, and other content creation platforms
  • Experience with Facebook Ads, Facebook Groups, Google Ads, and email marketing platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and marketing campaigns simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage marketing campaigns for weekly and specialty auctions
  • Create and schedule social media posts promoting auction items and upcoming sales
  • Develop and manage email campaigns targeting the bidder database
  • Write advertising copy for social media and search advertising
  • Create engaging content including social media posts, email newsletters, auction promotional material, and video scripts
  • Assist with photography, video, and promotional content highlighting auction inventory
  • Utilize AI tools to assist with content creation and marketing automation
  • Develop prompt workflows for generating auction listings and marketing materials
  • Help implement systems that allow marketing efforts to scale efficiently
  • Manage paid advertising campaigns on platforms such as Facebook / Instagram, Google Ads, and YouTube
  • Monitor marketing performance and adjust campaigns based on data
  • Track metrics including engagement, website traffic, and bidder registrations
