Digital Innovation Intern
About The Position
Barge Design Solutions is looking for a hard-working and dedicated college student to intern with them next summer. This internship offers the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in the field of digital innovation, learning from great mentors and leaders. The intern will explore emerging technologies and their potential applications within an engineering and architecture organization, support research, development, and testing of innovative digital solutions, and assist with prototypes, proofs of concept, process automation, and technology pilots. The role also involves identifying opportunities to improve workflows and business processes through technology, supporting the evaluation and implementation of new digital tools, documenting solutions, processes, testing results, and recommendations, and collaborating with technical and business teams to understand challenges and develop potential solutions. The intern will also support Digital team project deliverables and collaborate on new ideas and innovations.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree or master's degree from an accredited university
- Major: Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Current GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Interest in emerging technology, innovation, automation, and digital transformation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Responsibilities
