About The Position
Barge Design Solutions is seeking a motivated college student to join us as a Digital Innovation Intern next summer. This paid internship offers a full-time schedule (40 hours per week) and provides valuable work experience in emerging technologies within an engineering and architecture organization. You will learn from experienced mentors and leaders while contributing to innovative digital solutions.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree or master's degree from an accredited university
- Major: Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Current GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Interest in emerging technology, innovation, automation, and digital transformation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Responsibilities
- Exploring emerging technologies and their potential applications within an engineering and architecture organization
- Supporting the research, development, and testing of innovative digital solutions
- Assisting with prototypes, proofs of concept, process automation, and technology pilots
- Identifying opportunities to improve workflows and business processes through technology
- Supporting the evaluation and implementation of new digital tools
- Documenting solutions, processes, testing results, and recommendations
- Collaborating with technical and business teams to understand challenges and develop potential solutions
- Supporting Digital team project deliverables and collaborating on new ideas and innovations
