About The Position

Taylor Corporation is seeking a Digital Press Operator to join its team in New Jersey. The operator sets up and runs digital printing equipment, prepares files for production, and monitors print quality to complete customer orders accurately and efficiently. The role works the second shift, Monday through Friday, from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in digital printers.
Mechanical and technical aptitude.
Basic math skills, including the ability to read a ruler and calculate label dimensions for stock optimization.
Computer skills to download and manipulate files.
Ability to operate equipment to meet production and quality standards.
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written work instructions.
Ability to communicate professionally with team members.
Attention to detail.
Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
Regular ability to remain in a stationary position; constant operation of machinery and handling of products including print materials; frequent movement inside the facility; and regular movement of 25+ pounds by lifting, pushing, pulling, and/or carrying.

Nice To Haves

Indigo Operator Certification Level 1 or 2.

Responsibilities

Read and follow detailed job orders, identify errors or issues, and take appropriate corrective action.
Set up and adjust printing equipment according to job specifications.
Monitor print quality throughout production and make adjustments to meet customer requirements.
Monitor equipment performance, identify mechanical issues, and notify maintenance when necessary.
Start and operate production jobs according to the established schedule.
Perform routine equipment maintenance and upkeep.
Meet production standards for output, waste, and spoilage.
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace to support efficient shift changeovers.
Complete production logs and related paperwork accurately.
