About The Position

The Digital/Graphics Coordinator is responsible for managing the company's social media presence, including strategy development, content creation, performance measurement, and community building. This role also leads the graphic design and layout of all marketing materials, manages email campaigns and lists, and measures their effectiveness. Additionally, the coordinator assists with event coordination, website administration, and directs activities for grand openings, including preparing information sheets, ordering signs, planning photography, and providing store gifts. They will also complete various writing assignments for newsletters, create content for meetings and events, and prepare member communications. Trademark registration functions are also part of the role, ensuring that publicity and marketing activities generate positive responses and maintain the Credit Union's professional reputation.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of similar or related experience.
  • A college degree.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing and managing the company’s social media presence, including developing strategy, writing posts, measuring effectiveness, and building social communities.
  • Leading graphic design and layout of all marketing materials.
  • Managing email campaigns and various email lists, and measuring campaign effectiveness.
  • Assisting with event coordination and website administration.
  • Directing activities for grand openings, including preparing information sheets, ordering signs and flowers, planning for photography, and providing store gifts.
  • Completing miscellaneous writing assignments including stories for member and staff newsletters.
  • Creating articles, advertisements, and announcements for meetings and special events.
  • Preparing member communications including statement messages, envelope overprints, and teller receipt messages.
  • Handling trademark registration functions.
  • Ensuring event activities are effective and support marketing objectives.
  • Ensuring that professional business relations exist with members, Chamber of Commerce, vendors, trade professionals, and the public.
  • Representing the Credit Union at conventions and business fairs and actively selling products and services.
  • Helping to direct Credit Union sponsorships to ensure that they support marketing goals.
  • Answering related correspondence and representing the Credit Union at sponsor functions.
  • Resolving requests, questions, and problems courteously and professionally.
  • Ensuring that communications are efficient and effective.
  • Ensuring that publicity and marketing activities create positive members, prospective members, and community responses.
  • Maintaining and projecting the Credit Union’s professional reputation.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with Credit Union personnel and with management.
  • Attending and supporting Marketing meetings and activities.
  • Assisting, serving and informing departments as needed.
  • Answering questions and resolving problems.
  • Completing required reports and related documents promptly and accurately.
  • Keeping Senior Management informed of area activities including training and of any significant concerns.
  • Completing special projects as assigned.
  • Assuming other related duties as assigned.
