Digital Engineering Intern Summer 2027
About The Position
Parsons is seeking a Digital Engineering Intern to join its Digital Engineering Team for Summer 2027. The intern will support research and development efforts across the Digital Engineering discipline, including requirements management, modeling and simulation, test and evaluation, cybersecurity, and systems integration. The position involves learning the Parsons Digital Engineering Framework (PDEF), supporting Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) efforts, and modeling activities in the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense (CBRND) domain. The intern will work in an Agile environment and participate in Parsons intern activities and challenge. This role is part of Parsons' Federal Solutions team, which serves U.S. government customers.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Systems Engineering, CBRN, or a related field.
- Must have a GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Must be able to work in person in Centreville, Virginia, at least twice per week.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Cameo and Teamwork Cloud.
- Project work and extracurricular experience.
- AI/ML experience.
Responsibilities
- Learn and become knowledgeable about the Parsons Digital Engineering Framework (PDEF).
- Assist the Digital Engineering Team with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) efforts.
- Perform modeling activities in Cameo Systems Modeler in the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense (CBRND) domain.
- Work in an Agile environment, including daily standups and sprints.
- Participate in Parsons intern activities and challenge.
