About The Position

The Digital Engagement team is seeking an intern to help contribute to their work. This internship offers a wide variety of learning experiences to build skills in the digital space, across web, social, email, video, and app communications. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects that explore trends, challenges, and innovations in local government across the United States.

Requirements

• Current undergraduate or graduate student, or recent graduate in marketing, U/X, technology or information design, communications, journalism, or a related field.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.

Nice To Haves

• Background or interest in data workflows and coding, as well as digital communications, including social media, graphic design, branding, and content creation.
• Experience with web design.
• SQL or other similar database experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the database team to improve user experience and data flow to support tailored marketing campaigns
• Conduct digital metric analysis to uncover insights and inform marketing efforts
• Support special projects, including video scripting and editing
• Curate and tag video, photo, and resource library content
