About The Position

The Digital Design Internship supports the Express brand at PHOENIX Retail, LLC. The PHOENIX Internship Program is a 10-week, paid program for rising junior and senior undergraduate students and graduate students. Interns gain hands-on experience, work with experienced professionals, collaborate cross-functionally, and develop professional skills. The program includes workshops, networking with leaders, mentorship, an intern group project, outings, social events, and volunteer opportunities. The internship takes place from June 2 to August 5, 2027, at the Columbus Corporate Headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. Interns must work full-time, 40 hours per week, follow the four-days-in-office approach, relocate to the office location, and commit to the entire program. Housing accommodations are not provided.

Requirements

Be a rising junior or senior undergraduate student or a graduate student.

Responsibilities

Develop innovative design solutions for digital marketing materials.
Design weekly, monthly, and quarterly campaigns using templates, toolkits, and style guides while following brand standards.
Execute tactical direction from creative and marketing leaders efficiently.
Manage workload independently and meet deadlines.
Approach projects with the goal of creating best-in-class customer experiences.
Understand and execute the brand narrative and storytelling.
Finalize digital creative for handoff, ensuring assets are optimized and in the correct format.
