Summary: As a Digital Design Engineer at Microwave Products Group – Pole/Zero Corporation in West Chester, OH, you will support the military community by being responsible for developing and supporting control systems for RF interference mitigation products.

Requirements

  • BSEE or BSCE from an accredited four-year college or university is required.
  • 4-10 years of developing and supporting embedded control systems (can include co-op experience).
  • Must be a US person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder))

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in an RF/analog hardware environment is highly desirable.
  • Experience with embedded control design and coding for the defense industry is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Agile software development and Git is desirable.
  • Experience with signal processing is a plus.
  • Familiarity with requirements management and verifications
  • Familiarity with MS Office programs – Exel, Word, Visio
  • Familiarity with layout tools – like PADs software

Responsibilities

  • Embedded C/C++ coding, compiling, debugging, and integration with digital hardware.
  • Develop embedded control algorithms, architecture, and code.
  • FPGA/CPLD design and VHDL coding, simulation, and synthesis for embedded applications.
  • Design schematics containing components such as programmable logic, microcontrollers, analog, digital I/O, standard interfaces (e.g. LVDS, USB, Ethernet, RS-485), and DC/DC converters.
  • Integral involvement in all phases of hardware and firmware development, including digital control module design, architecture, coding, simulation, module testing, system testing, firmware verification/validation, and production support.
  • Test firmware for compliance to requirements, verification of functionality and performance using Pole/Zero hardware and commercial equipment such as in-circuit emulators, logic analyzers, mixed-signal oscilloscopes, network and spectrum analyzers, signal generators, etc.
