As we continue to expand, we are searching for a Digital & Deposit Support Specialist II. The Digital & Deposit Support Specialist II is a cross-functional operational role responsible for supporting digital banking services and deposit operations. This position serves as a knowledgeable resource for internal employees and members by independently resolving moderately complex issues related to digital banking, deposit transactions, ACH activity, fraud indicators, and system-based workflows.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 3 years of previous banking or financial institution experience strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in digital banking, operations, fraud support, or account servicing beneficial.
  • Intermediate working knowledge of digital banking systems, products, and workflows.
  • Intermediate working knowledge of deposit account servicing and transaction processing.
  • Working knowledge of ACH processing and NACHA Operating Rules.
  • Working knowledge of applicable regulations, including Reg E, Reg CC, BSA, and Member Identification Program (MIP) requirements, as applicable to role.
  • High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and credit union operating systems.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary support resource for members and internal staff regarding digital banking services, including Digital Banking access, Bill Pay, Zelle, Mobile RDC, Wires, and ATM-related inquiries.
  • Process and monitor digital banking service events and validate corrective actions.
  • Perform daily processing of Bill Pay settlements, exceptions, and cancellations.
  • Approve outgoing wire transfers in accordance with assigned limits and within HFCU policies and procedures.
  • Report suspicious wire activity to management.
  • Send completed wires to imaging systems for record retention.
  • Independently process new tax levies and garnishments upon receipt; maintain an active tracking log to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance; and ensure processing is completed within required state and federal timeframes.
  • Assist with Subpoena research and processing.
  • Conduct New Account, Certificate, and Safe Deposit Box quality assurance reviews to ensure documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Support deceased account processing and complex account structures, including Powers of Attorney, Trusts, Representative Payees, and Business Accounts.
  • Serve as a liaison between Digital Banking, Deposit Support Operations, Fraud Prevention, and Retail teams.
  • Provide backup coverage across both departments during peak volume periods, staff absences, or operational disruptions.
