Requirements

  • 4–7 years of experience in copywriting, content, or digital marketing roles.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating digital-first copywriting (SMS, email, social, ads, etc.).
  • Experience developing or working within brand voice/tone of voice systems.
  • Experience using AI tools to support copywriting workflows (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, etc.).
  • Experience in multi-location or franchise-based businesses.
  • Experience with A/B testing and performance marketing.
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms.
  • Ability to translate strategy and insights into effective messaging.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to write clear, concise and persuasive copy across formats.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with brand marketing teams to define and refine tone of voice guidelines across multiple brands.
  • Translate brand positioning into clear, usable writing systems (voice principles, do/don't examples, messaging frameworks).
  • Ensure tone is adaptable across channels while remaining consistent and recognizable.
  • Continuously evolve voice guidelines based on performance and brand needs.
  • Write high-performing copy across digital-first channels including: SMS/texting marketing, social media captions, email and marketing automation, digital ads and web content.
  • Support occasional print copy needs (flyers, direct mail, etc.) as extensions of campaigns.
  • Adapt messaging for different audiences, services, and funnel stages.
  • Build and maintain AI-powered copywriting agents to scale content creation.
  • Translate tone of voice guidelines into effective prompts and structured workflows.
  • Use AI tools to generate, refine, and iterate on copy while maintaining quality and brand integrity.
  • Identify opportunities to improve speed and consistency through automation and templating.
  • Use performance data (engagement, CTR, conversions, etc.) to refine messaging.
  • Test and iterate on headlines, hooks, and offers to improve effectiveness.
