Digital Content Producer Intern
About The Position
Mueller Sports Medicine (MSM) is seeking academically strong candidates with a passion for their field of study for internship opportunities. Internships typically run from late May through early September. MSM offers internships in various departments, including marketing, purchasing, logistics, information technology (IT), finance and accounting, and customer service. Interns will have the chance to meet with associates, vendors, and customers, both virtually and in-person, to explore future career paths. MSM is also willing to accommodate recordkeeping or evaluation requirements for interns seeking academic credit.
Requirements
- Completed one year of post-high school education and enrolled for the fall semester at a technical college or four-year university.
- Pursuing a degree in a field of study related to the area of the internship.
- Experience in photography, editing, and video production.
- Confidence in using video and photography editing tools such as Adobe photoshop and Premiere.
- Have a grade point average sufficient to be considered in good academic standing.
- Ability to understand and comply with Mueller Safety Systems and current regulatory requirements.
- Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies.
- Makes sound decisions based on analysis, discussion, experience and judgment.
- Demonstrated team player with active participation in meetings.
- Strong planning and project management skills.
- Strong ability to transition efficiently from working independently to working collaboratively.
- Anticipates emerging and future trends accurately based on broad knowledge and perspective.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization including with the board.
- Develops and maintains interpersonal relationships.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Use of video and photo editing products, such as Abobe photoshop and Premiere Pro
- Valid drivers license.
- Responsible to appropriately protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of the organizations systems and data as well as client data.

Responsibilities
- Write, develop and produce content and copy for a variety of digital platforms, including websites, blogs social media posts, Youtube and email campaigns
- Produce story boards and mood boards to bring ideas to life
- Create and edit visually engaging social videos, Instagram stories and reels
- Create product images and product video content to use on e-commerce pages
- Partner with marketing team to understand consumer needs and brand objectives and be able to translate them into compelling video or static content
- Sell through content to broader team and incorporate feedback
- Other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the organization.
