Graphic Design & Visual Content (55%) Design and produce high-quality visual assets for: Social media Internal newsletters and communications Flyers, signage, presentations, and marketing collateral Translate written content into visually compelling, brand-aligned materials Maintain and evolve templates to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability Ensure all deliverables align with HPSI brand standards and visual identity Manage multiple design requests while prioritizing based on business needs and deadlines Social Media Coordination & Publishing (40%) Manage and maintain the social media content calendar across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X) Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collect, organize, and refine content submissions Edit and format copy to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with brand voice Pair content with appropriate visuals and prepare posts for publishing Schedule and publish content using social media management tools Ad Hoc Communications Support (5%) Support development of internal communications, including email announcements and newsletters Collaborate with the Multimedia Specialist to incorporate photography and video into digital content Provide general communications support as needed COMPETENCIES Detail-oriented and highly organized Ability to manage multiple inputs and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Able to communication effectively with all levels of the organization Decision making/problem solving Conflict resolution Strategic thinking Stress management Willingness and ability to work as a team member SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTY This position has no supervisory responsibilities. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field 5–7 years of experience in graphic design and digital content production; prior experience in a corporate environment is strongly preferred Strong design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva Strong writing, proofreading, and editorial skills with an eye for detail and tone Strong written and verbal communicator with executive presence; able to collaborate effectively across teams and engage stakeholders at all levels Highly organized, process-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Adaptable, solutions-oriented, and able to pivot quickly in response to changing priorities Proactive, self-starter with strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently Creative thinker with a passion for continuous improvement and process enhancement Integrity, professionalism, and commitment to high-quality work Comfortable working with internal and external teams, and contributing as a collaborative team member Experience managing social media platforms and content scheduling Willingness to support occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekend events (at least once a month) Strong grasp of logistics and communication workflows WORK ENVIRONMENT Environmental exposures are similar to those found in most heavy industrial settings and may include noise, heat, cold, vibration, dust, fumes and smoke.
