About The Position

The Digital Commerce & Master Data Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining accurate and consistent data that powers our sporting goods business. This position is responsible for coordinating internal master data—such as product, vendor, and customer information—and supporting our retail and distribution partners with their data needs to successfully run their digital platforms. A key part of this role involves creating and maintaining new item records for upcoming products and seasonal launches, ensuring that every new SKU is set up correctly and ready for sale. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about delivering clean, reliable data that supports both operational efficiency and exceptional customer experience to our retail partners.

Requirements

  • Post Secondary Degree in Business or Business Administration, Data Management, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 0–2 years of experience in master data, data entry, or related administrative/analytical roles.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., E1, Smarter Commerce, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and product information management tools is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with internal teams and external partners.
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets.
  • Curiosity about products, categories, and data organization within the sporting goods industry.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada

  • Experience in sporting goods, retail, or consumer products is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and maintain master data records for products, customers, and vendors across ERP and CRM systems.
  • Set up and manage new item creation for product launches, ensuring all attributes, pricing, and classifications are complete and accurate.
  • Validate product data (SKUs, descriptions, categories, pricing, packaging, etc.) to meet internal standards and system requirements.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Supply Chain, and Sales teams to ensure new items are available in systems ahead of launch timelines.
  • Ensure data consistency and alignment across internal systems to support sales, logistics, and finance operations.
  • Participate in data cleansing and enrichment projects to improve accuracy and streamline workflows.
  • Serve as a resource for customers, distributors, and retail partners needing assistance with product data templates, pricing files, or MDM product imports.
  • Work closely with sales leaders to help analyze sales reports and support their data driven requirements.
  • Coordinate the exchange of master data to ensure accurate product listings, inventory feeds, and order processing.
  • Work closely with customer service and sales teams to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues quickly and professionally.
  • Support B2B, Amazon, eCommerce and retail data requirements to maintain strong partnerships and consistent product representation.
  • Coordinate day-to-day Amazon order processing and execution for distribution center.
  • Building a focused approach to forecasting for this customer and ensuring proper products are available for purchase by Amazon.
