About The Position
The Digital Clerk fulfills customers’ online curbside orders, helping drive customer loyalty and satisfaction through quick, accurate shopping and a smooth pickup experience. The role includes providing friendly service at the curbside pickup area, collecting payment, answering customer questions, resolving concerns with leadership when needed, and maintaining positive relationships with customers and colleagues. The clerk receives daily workflow through a dashboard, selects and verifies products throughout the store, bags items according to standards, and stores and stages orders while following food safety guidelines. The position also involves keeping the curbside area clean and ready for pickups and supporting other tasks as needed. Training is provided.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- At least 1 year of experience.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
- Process-driven, with the ability to follow procedures efficiently and consistently.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.
Nice To Haves
- Prior retail experience.
- Past cashier experience.
- Past online ordering experience.
Responsibilities
- Fulfill customers’ online orders quickly and accurately.
- Provide service at the curbside pickup area, including collecting payment.
- Greet customers courteously in person and by phone and respond to their questions and needs.
- Maintain positive working relationships with customers, store team members, and leadership.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly, partnering with leadership when needed.
- Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
- Select items throughout the store, scan and verify products, and bag items according to standards.
- Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
- Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
- Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
