Digital Circuit Design Engineer

Apple•Cupertino, CA
•$174,149 - $218,000

About The Position

Apple Inc. is hiring a Digital Circuit Design Engineer to develop circuits for chips. The role includes circuit analysis, modeling, SPICE simulation, statistical design, and margin verification across process, voltage, and temperature (PVT). The engineer works with the layout team to complete designs and oversee layout quality, and develops circuit methodologies to meet design quality metrics. The work also involves maintaining low-voltage, low-power custom circuits, digital on-chip sensors, and time-to-digital converter (TDC) designs; using tools for circuit design, static timing analysis, IR, and power flows; analyzing pre- and post-silicon data to identify circuit issues; and developing transistor-aging methodology using SPICE simulations. The position is based in Cupertino, California, and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. The stated work schedule is 40 hours per week. The annual base-pay range is $174,149–$218,000, with pay dependent on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple also describes discretionary stock programs, benefits, and possible discretionary bonuses or commission payments and relocation assistance.
