About The Position

The Business Analyst Intern will support the Public Sites 2.0 (PS2.0) initiative, a strategic effort to modernize Medica’s unauthenticated digital experiences (e.g., Medica.com) to improve member self‑service, content findability, and digital performance. This internship is a digital product-focused role where the intern will contribute to research, analysis, and documentation that inform information architecture, content strategy, UX design, and CMS modernization efforts outlined in the PS2.0 strategy. The intern will work closely with Digital Product, UX, Marketing, and Analytics partners and gain hands-on experience in data-driven digital product development within a regulated healthcare environment. Performs other duties as assigned. Throughout your internship, you'll gain exposure to Digital product strategy and execution, UX and information architecture best practices, CMS modernization initiatives, Cross‑functional collaboration in a large enterprise environment, and Data‑driven decision making tied to measurable business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Current junior or senior pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, MIS, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Interest in data, analysis, and problem solving
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application.
  • Employment is contingent on verification of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Power BI

Responsibilities
