About The Position

Lakeside Book Company is hiring a full-time Digital Bindery Operator to operate bindery equipment, perform basic machine maintenance, communicate with other departments, and assist with packaging as needed. The position is located at 30 Amberwood Parkway, Ashland, Ohio 44805. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with overtime as required. The first 4–5 weeks are worked on first shift, 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; after successful completion of training, the employee moves to the second-shift schedule. Pay is $15.00 per hour, with a $1.50 shift differential on second shift, and on-demand pay is available. The role requires frequent standing, walking, pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Employees must be able to read small print, work in close quarters, and perform small finger movements. The work may involve exposure to dust or fumes and marked changes in temperature or humidity. Requirements

High school diploma or at least 6 months of experience.
Ability to perform simple math.
Ability to use a ruler in both standard and metric measurements.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, bend, squat, climb, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to read small print, work in close quarters, and complete small finger movements.
Ability to work with exposure to dust or fumes and marked changes in temperature and/or humidity.
