About The Position
Lakeside Book Company is seeking a Digital Bindery Operator for their 3rd shift. This role involves operating bindery equipment, performing basic machine maintenance, and communicating with other departments. The company emphasizes a strong safety culture and environmental responsibility. This is a full-time position with a schedule of 9:30 pm - 6:00 am, Monday-Friday, with overtime as required. Initial training will be conducted on the 1st shift for 4-5 weeks.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or 6+ months of experience
- Ability to perform simple math
- Ability to use a ruler – both standard and metric
- Basic computer skills
- Previous forklift experience
Responsibilities
- Operate bindery equipment
- Basic machine maintenance
- Communicate with other departments as needed
- Assist with packaging as needed
- Other duties as assigned
