About The Position

The Digital Asset Management Administrator (DAM) serves as the primary DAM architect and gatekeeper overseeing, maintaining, and organizing the digital asset library within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Assets. Their core responsibility is to organize and manage a structured, searchable system through consistent tagging, metadata, and version control. Beyond just organization, they function as a strategic partner to channel leads to understand the tools and access they need to do their best work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years’ technical experience in a web environment, or 9 years’ experience in a technical environment including web platforms/databases.
  • Knowledge of digital file types, specifications, and common design formats (e.g., image, video, and document standards).
  • Skilled in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Assets or a comparable enterprise DAM system.
  • Knowledge of asset tagging protocols for discoverability, cross-curation, and tracking.
  • Knowledge of file size management, versioning, and accessibility management.
  • Skilled in organizational principles with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Skilled in written and verbal communication, with the ability to train and support users of varying technical skill levels.
  • Ability to have a collaborative mindset and work across departments with diverse needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a health care or health insurance industry.
  • Platform migrations experience or knowledge.
  • Knowledge of API integrations of AEM with CRM systems such as Salesforce, and analytics plugins such as Adobe Analytics, Siteimprove and Freshpaint.
  • Prior use of Dynamic Media or Adobe Sensei for asset/image enhancement.
  • Use of A/B testing and personalization using Adobe Target, Adobe Journey Optimizer, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and manage a structured, searchable system through consistent tagging, metadata, and version control.
  • Function as a strategic partner to channel leads to understand the tools and access they need to do their best work.
  • Build or support content governance strategies, including data dictionaries and metadata compliance.
  • Act as a reference point for asset access, training, and lifecycle knowledge across enterprise teams.
