About The Position

This position is intended for team members currently working at this facility or complex. Team members seeking to transfer from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner. The team member sets up and verifies the Delford labeling system, Markem printer, and metal detector at the start of each shift. They verify and test labels for each product scheduled to run on their line, retrieve label rolls, and set up print-and-apply heads as needed. During production, they monitor the metal detector and printer flow and print quality, replacing label rolls as they run low. The role involves walking up and down the process line to ensure proper operation and quality. The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform the job’s physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

Must have successfully completed the probationary period.
Must have an excellent attendance record of 6 points or less and maintain 9 points or less.
Must have an excellent safety record and no disciplinary action resulting in suspension in the last 12 months.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Assemble equipment for the Delford labeling system and Markem printer, and set up and verify the metal detector at shift start.
Verify and test labels for each product scheduled to run on the line during the shift.
Retrieve label rolls and set up print-and-apply heads for the product being produced as needed.
Monitor metal detector flow, Markem printer flow, and print quality during production.
Replace label rolls as they run low.
Walk up and down the process line to ensure proper operation and quality.
