Part Time Dietitian
About The Position
Morrison Living is hiring immediately for a Clinical Dietitian position at ArchCare at Carmel Richmond Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Staten Island, NY. This role is in a Long Term Care (LTC), memory care, and rehab setting. The schedule is part-time, 20 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday, 3 days per week. The position requires the candidate to be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. New graduates are welcome to apply. The Clinical Dietitian will provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education, working with a collaborative team to enhance patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care.
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
- Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
- Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes.
- Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community.
- Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care.
- Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence.
- Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals.
- Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable.
