About The Position

Requirements

State licensure is required if licensure is available in the state where the facility is located.
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a similar area.
Ability to work flexible schedules, potentially across multiple facilities, and travel when needed.
After hire and training, successfully complete the Competency Assessment for Renal Dietitians (CARD) with a score of at least 80%.
Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Functional proficiency with DaVita-specific applications within 60 days.

Responsibilities

Analyze patients’ laboratory results.
Educate patients and their families about what to eat based on their health and lab results.
Build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and their families.
Contribute to patient health through clinical goal-setting and quality improvement initiatives.
Work across multiple facilities and travel when needed.
