About The Position

DaVita is hiring a Registered Dietitian to serve as a vital member of each patient’s core care team in an outpatient setting. The dietitian analyzes laboratory results and educates patients and their families about appropriate nutrition. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, building personal relationships with patients and families, and contributing to clinical goals and quality improvement initiatives. The position may involve flexible scheduling across multiple facilities and travel when needed.

Requirements

• State licensure is required if licensure is available in the state where the facility is located.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a similar area required.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, possibly at multiple facilities, and travel when needed.
• After hire and training, successfully complete the Competency Assessment for Renal Dietitians (CARD) with a score of at least 80%.
• Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Functional proficiency with DaVita-specific applications within 60 days.

Responsibilities
