About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a part time (20 hours/week) inpatient position at Altru Health System in Grand Forks, North Dakota. This brand-new, state-of-the-art 226-bed acute care hospital serves as a regional hub for advanced, patient-centered care, offering a collaborative environment focused on clinical excellence, innovation, and community impact.

Requirements

Registered Dietitian credentials, or RD eligible.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing needs.
A history of working independently with little direction and with a positive outlook.
A commitment to continued education in the nutrition field.
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nutrition care to patients on inpatient units.
Serve as an active member of the multidisciplinary care team, with involvement in rounds, committees and/or other events as needed.
Participate in performance improvement and/or outcome measurement initiatives.
Be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process.
