About The Position

Join a team of dietitians who are passionate about their profession, with patients at the heart of everything we do. Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a part-time (24 hours/week) inpatient position at Milford Hospital, a satellite campus of Bridgeport Hospital in Milford, CT. Milford Hospital is a 106-bed acute care hospital, part of the Yale New Haven Health System. The selected candidate will also provide coverage at Bridgeport Hospital.

Requirements

Registered Dietitian credentials, or RD eligible.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing needs.
A history of working independently with little direction and with a positive outlook.
A commitment to continued education in the nutrition field.
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nutrition care to patients on inpatient units.
Serve as an active member of the multidisciplinary care team, with involvement in rounds, committees and/or other events as needed.
Participate in performance improvement and/or outcome measurement initiatives.
Be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process.
