About The Position

The role is located at Morrison Healthcare at Washington County Regional Medical Center, a 35-bed acute care hospital & 60-bed LTCS. Requirements

  • Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration or eligible.
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible.
  • Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable.
  • Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes.
  • Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients/residents, families, staff, and the community.
  • Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care.
  • Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient/resident care and clinical excellence.
  • Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient/resident satisfaction and service goals.
  • Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable.
