About The Position

Take the next step in your career with Morrison Living as a Clinical Dietitian! This is a part-time position, 24 hours per week, 3 days per week, at Pickersgill Retirement Community in Towson, MD. The setting is a Continuing Care Retirement Community, serving Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing Services. The role involves providing Medical Nutrition Therapy and education in a senior living environment, working with a collaborative team to enhance resident outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care. Compass Group employs over 3,000 RDNs across the United States in various settings including hospitals, senior living communities, schools, universities, corporate wellness programs, and food service operations. Requirements

  • Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible.
  • Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable.
  • Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes.
  • Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community.
  • Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care.
  • Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence.
  • Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals.
  • Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable.
