About The Position

Morrison Healthcare is hiring a Clinical Dietitian for an acute care setting at Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital in Tullahoma, Tennessee. The Dietitian provides Medical Nutrition Therapy and education while collaborating with a care team to support patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care. The schedule is flexible.

The role includes access to RDN-focused career advancement programs, free continuing education units through a nutrition education webinar series, and opportunities for ongoing education, professional development, specialization, leadership development, and cross-functional career paths. Healthcare experience is preferred, and new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Be a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or eligible to take the CDR exam.
• Hold a dietitian license, or be willing to obtain one, in the state of practice as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes.
• Provide nutrition and lifestyle guidance to patients, families, staff, and the community.
• Apply current research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols.
• Contribute to quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
• Partner with the food service management team to support patient satisfaction and service goals.
• Support staff and dietetic interns through education and training, as applicable.
