Requirements
- Monitoring AHS's compliance in accordance with current applicable Federal, State and local dietary standards, guidelines, and regulations.
- Ensuring the highest degree of quality resident care is maintained at all times.
Responsibilities
- Provides clinical nutrition assessment, education and documentation for home care patients and their caregivers, in their homes.
- Maintains quality assurance and evaluates compliance with corporate policies and procedures and State and Federal guidelines.
- Assists in planning, developing, organizing, implementing and evaluating the Dietary Department, its programs and activities.
- Develops and participates in educational sessions for staff to increase knowledge of staff and improve care.
- Reviews appropriate web sites, publications and other educational materials to ensure that the standards of practice are being achieved.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
