About The Position
Responsible for nutrition assessment, education, and documentation of all inpatients as directed by department policies and procedures, professional judgment, physician orders, and staff recommendations. The population served ranges from neonatal to geriatric.
Requirements
- Fulfills the requirements to be a Registered Dietitian in New York State or is registration-eligible through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Registration-eligible candidates must become registered within six months of hire, or hold Registered Dietitian status recognized by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience in a health care facility is preferred.
