About The Position

DaVita is hiring a Registered Dietitian to serve as a vital member of each patient’s core care team in an intimate outpatient setting. The Dietitian analyzes lab-work results and educates patients and their families about appropriate nutrition. The role focuses on patient-centered care, building meaningful long-term relationships, and supporting patients in living better lives. The position is part-time at 24 hours per week, with a flexible schedule; work may involve multiple facilities and travel when needed. After hire and training, the Dietitian must successfully complete the Competency Assessment for Renal Dietitians (CARD) with a score of at least 80%.

Requirements

At least 1 year of clinical Registered Dietitian experience.
State licensure is required if licensure is available in the state where the facility is located.
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a similar area.
Ability to work flexible schedules, possibly across multiple facilities, and travel when needed.
After hire and training, successful completion of the Competency Assessment for Renal Dietitians (CARD) with a score of at least 80%.
Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Functional proficiency with DaVita-specific applications within 60 days.

Responsibilities
