Grow your career with a team passionate about making a difference. Sodexo is hiring a Registered Dietitians (RD) to join our innovative nutrition team at Vail Health in beautiful Vail, Colorado. We have a part-time opportunity available. Vail Health is home to one of the most advanced mountain healthcare systems in the world—offering state-of-the-art care in a breathtaking alpine setting. This role is primarily based at Vail Health Hospital and may also support the Precourt Healing Center (PHC), a newly opened inpatient crisis stabilization behavioral health facility.

Requirements

Valid Registered Dietitian credential
2 years acute care experience a plus
Entry level RD's are welcome to apply that are RD eligible for certification
The ability to excel in communication, customer service, and time management
Thrive in a dynamic, high-energy environment and adapt to changing patient needs
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

Provide inpatient care at Precourt Healing Center & Vail Health Hospital, with a schedule of 24 hours week to include rotating weekends, and holiday coverage as needed
Assist with educating healthcare team members, including physicians, nurses, and food service staff
