About The Position
Join a team of dietitians who are passionate about their profession, with patients at the heart of everything we do. Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a part-time (24 hours/week) inpatient position at Milford Hospital, a satellite campus of Bridgeport Hospital in Milford, CT. Milford Hospital is a 106-bed acute care hospital, part of the Yale New Haven Health System. The selected candidate will also provide coverage at Bridgeport Hospital.
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian credentials, or RD eligible.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing needs.
- A history of working independently with little direction and with a positive outlook.
- A commitment to continued education in the nutrition field.
- Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional nutrition care to patients on inpatient units.
- Serve as an active member of the multidisciplinary care team, with involvement in rounds, committees and/or other events as needed.
- Participate in performance improvement and/or outcome measurement initiatives.
- Be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process.
