As a Dietitian Specialist you will conduct clinical administrative duties, serve as a liaison between the clinical teams and the food service department and performs NFPEs and malnutrition identification on patients. Requirements
- Must be a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Licensed in the state of TN.
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
- Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
- Specialty certification when required
- Two years of work experience in specialty preferred

Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical administrative duties
- Serve as a liaison between the clinical teams and the food service department
- Perform NFPEs and malnutrition identification on patients
- Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in a designated specialty area to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
- Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community
- Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care
- Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence
- Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
- Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable
