About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Clinical Dietitian for Medstar Franklin Square Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center provides comprehensive, especially technology-based surgical services, offering the latest, most innovative treatment for patients with various medical conditions. This position supports the Inpatient Clinical Nutrition team and is open to new graduates or experienced dietitians.

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian credentials and be licensed in MD (or eligible)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good time management skills be a self-starter and a team player
• Ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff
• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
• 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units
• Have order-writing privileges
• Precept dietetic interns
• Educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses
