About The Position

Sodexo is seeking an enthusiastic Dietitian Nutritionist to join the inpatient care team at Adventist HealthCare Shady Grove Medical Center in Rockville, MD. Experience in a NICU setting is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian credentials and be licensed in MD (or eligible)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good time management skills be a self-starter and a team player
• Ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff
• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a NICU setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units
• Have order-writing privileges
• Precept dietetic interns
• Educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurse
