About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a full-time Dietitian Nutritionist for Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center main campus in Baton Rouge, LA. Our Lady of the Lake main campus is a Level 1 Trauma Center with over 900 licensed beds. This role offers the opportunity to work at the largest healthcare facility in Louisiana, grow your skills working with high acuity patients with order writing privileges. New and experienced Dietitians are welcome to apply.

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian credentials and be licensed in LA (or ability to obtain).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good time management skills, be a self-starter and a team player.
• The ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff.
• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.

Nice To Haves

• Nutritional support experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional support experience is preferred.
• Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units.
• Educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses.
• Precept dietetic interns.
