About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian to join their dynamic team of Dietitians at LMH Health to work in-patient in Lawrence, Kansas. LMH Health is a 174-bed, community-owned, not for profit hospital, dedicated to improving the community's health. This position is open to new graduates and experienced dietitians.

Requirements

Registered Dietitian and licensed in Kansas.
Demonstrate great patient care, communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
Strong commitment towards excellence in all aspects of patient care.
Positive attitude and desire to be part of a supportive, joyful team environment.
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on inpatient units.
Serve as the primary liaison with medical and ancillary staff.
Represent the department on hospital-wide committees.
Educate food & nutrition staff and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
Assist in other initiatives, including performance improvement, quality management, community events, and departmental tasks.
